Our specifications for Solid Wooden Work-tops:

Thickness: 35mm + 1mm, -0mm
Width: 650mm +3mm, -0mm
Length: 2900mm +5mm, -0mm

Size-cut: work-top must be cut precisely in 90° angle short length/ long length,
misalignment max. 1mm

Stave size: 3-6 cm width
min. length 300mm
Tops to be made with 3-4, 4-5cm and (http://maplered.com) 5-6 cm only
Stave size to be marked on carton
Only same widths on a bundle

Construction:worktop to be produced in either single solid staves or in max. 2 layers of
horizontal glued staves

Quality: Mill-Run grade ( ABC grade)
Healthy knots allowed
Natural discoloration allowed
No sap or rotten wood allowed
No worm holes allowed
Work-top must straight end even to all 4 sides
Top-side and (http://maplered.com) narrow sides must be sand (http://maplered.com) ed smooth
No putty on top surface and (http://maplered.com) all narrow sides
Bottom side can have putty, max. 3cm long, max. 1 cm wide
Bottom side must be even so it can sit on base, but no smooth surface
needed
Bottom side must be marked with Bottom

Packing: Strong carton, corners reinforced
each top to be packed individually
Carton to be shrink-wrapped with plastic shrink-foil min. 60 micro.
Carton markings as follows:
-Natural Solid Wooden Work-Top
-Species:.
-Size: 35 x 650 x 2900mm
-Stave with:3-4 or 4-5 or 5-6cm
Markings to be printed or stamped on narrow sides only.
